This was a policy created by the previous administration - to force hospitals to publish pricing. Kudos for the current administration holding the line.
I’ve always said we need a market-based solution to combat egregious health care and drug pricing. Giving consumers choice by being able to shop pricing does just that.
The cynic in me expects the “large hospitals” to just pay the $2M fine and business as usual.
