Where the fuck is a whistle blower at a school that matters or a sport that's relevant at said school. Isn't going to bother NC hoops. Football has been the scape goat at NC for decades. How hard is it to unearth academic scandal for a program with 12 players? Naaahh, hammer the program with 105 players and let the hoop criminals skate. It's damn comedy.
Check Calipari's class attendance and essay's. Nobody gives a fuck about football there. At least much less than NC.

The UNC academic scandal involved football and basketball. The NCAA is pushing it under the rug because they don't want to strip two titles away from the Tar Heels.
Doing a massive disservice to kids by allowing them to not only take 0xx level classes and earn college credit and/or retain eligibility for that level of performance, but also to give such grades for such performance.
For as much as we want to blame the college for this, this starts with the piss poor shit job done in the K-12 levels wherever this player grew up.

Toss off with that shit. The guys are there to play football and basketball. It's time people stopped pretending to care and accepted it. What difference does it really make in the end anyways? You've got a whole university full of students not on scholarship for the academics. Help the athletes get the slip of paper (which probably won't help that much) for making their mark athletically. You do that by giving them grades they don't deserve and turning the other way when they turn in work far above what they are actually capable of.
Now, the K-12 stuff is valid, but it's an entirely different subject that you might as well forget about. It's never going to get completely fixed.

THIS, they are not there for the academics so who gives a shit what the schools do to get them by.
But the fact that the american school system is producing people with 1st grade english skills is the real problem

There is plenty of grade inflation and social promotion going on at both levels. It's more harmful when they're at elementary school and get passed along for the next teacher to deal w/, but that's a giant can of worms worthy of the Tuck Tavern, or general bored or whatever the f*** it is.

That shit started in the Ivy League and worked its way down the chain.
