I like to look up at a team that just rolled through a superbowl with a 4th round quarterback and then pick Johnny Football so that my fans can show up in Week 1 and not think im FS and then watch him get cut in half by week 2.

Point is that the media loves gargling this kid for ratings, and I'll give him his due he balled up against Alabama, etc. but if I'm a GM I don't pick a guy whose legs could be used as toothpicks for some of these monster D-linemen he's going to face. 4th round/3rd round, I will never be NFL superiority guy.

If Jack Lockner, Blaine Gabbert, and Christian Ponder are good enough to be top ten picks, so is Johnny Manziel.

Definitely true; kid deserves a shot. If I'm a GM though I think this kid gets munched on.
Lol at you guys that think Manziel is gonna suck. He's easily the best QB in the draft. Blake Bortles is the bust, not Manziel.
He's pretty small, too cocky, and from what I've heard not a gym rat. I know the SEC is on par with the Jags and Raiders, but he won't be able to tuck it and run in the NFL as much.

Except he completed 70% of his passes for over 4,000 yards. These aren't Tebow stats either. He can throw.

Fun draft to look back on btw. Wilson was a 3rd rounder.

By the looks of Bortles' old lady, he's already won...
