    There is no thrill worth it being your last.

    Everest climbers.........do you think that when they are sitting down, exhausted, no hope of making it down and quickly freezing to death they say to themselves "this is fucking awesome man!"?

    I don't get it.

    This is like flying an airplane with exactly enough fuel to reach your destination of absolutely nothing goes wrong. No headwind delays etc.

    I’ve watched a number of vids on Everest climbers. I honestly don’t get it. If you’re into the macabre just Google bodies on Everest. Enjoy!

    The dudes body from like the 1920's - 30's was really eerie looking. Perfectly preserved after all these decades.

    The team that went searching for Mallory did so because the melt had exposed areas that were previously covered and they figured they might get lucky. One of them was scanning an area and noticed a bright white object that stood out amongst the rocks. Bingo! It was him and in an area they felt he might have fallen.
