I actually think there is very little difference between the far left and far right - they both want to do the same thing but have different explanations for those results. For instance at one time - pornography - the left says it is defaming women and the right says it is breaking the family apart. Both could be right, but both want it banned, but won't agree to banning it.
From at least 1872, the word fascio was used in Italian in the names of labor and agrarian unions. Fascio (the plural of which is fasci), which has a literal meaning of “bundle” and a figurative meaning of “group,” harkens back to an earlier—and grander—time in the peninsula’s history: in ancient Rome, there were officers, called lictors, who accompanied the chief magistrates in public appearances, clearing the way for them and summoning and punishing offenders as the magistrate saw fit. A lictor would also carry the fasces for his magistrate. The fasces, called in Italian “fascio littorio,” was a long bundle of elm or birch rods with an ax head projecting from it, all tied up with a red strap. According to our friends at Encyclopedia Britannica, when the fasces were carried inside Rome, the ax was generally removed as a symbol of the right of a Roman citizen to appeal a magistrate’s ruling. Our colleagues mention two exceptions to this practice: the ax was kept in on the happy occasion of a general celebrating a triumph, as well as in the less happy circumstance of a magistrate also being a dictator.
Seems super relevant to how the word is used today.
Democracy as a form of government is unstable. Mob rule leads to a union with oligarchs, which is basically where the modern "democrat" party is today. By definition and their own actions they are fascists. Our interloping useful idiot just lacks self awareness.
the dictators from the right are identical to the dictators from the left - both are fascists you dumbshit
the only ones who do not suffer are those from the ruling party - and high up in that party.
I think you are confusing fascism with authoritarianism. Fascism is a very specific brand of authoritarianism. Highlighted by its ultranationalism, which is why it’s really funny that you guys keep calling the people that you say hate America “fascists”.
I would agree that authoritarianism from either side is bad, yes.
Fascism is a center left ideology. The not-idiots in the crowd will note we've been over this at length. Kobe just keeps rehashing the same false talking points because that's what the left does.
It's only "right" from communism. Fascists and free markets are inherently at odds with one another.
Guys, I’m very concerned about the economic impact of investing in our infrastructure.
“Social infrastructure” isn’t infrastructure you dumbshit. It’s a bribe to keep low functioning entitled people like you in their back pockets for the next decade. And you’ve fallen for it. I’m shocked!
Guys, I’m very concerned about the economic impact of investing in our infrastructure.
It's not infrastructure you silly little boy. Do you play stupid on purpose?
For clarity, you guys are still the ones that say a college education is an indoctrination into communism?
"You guys".
Classic.
Run a new play.
That awkward moment when you realize you’re the one that’s against educating people.
big difference in educating and indoctrinating people. Dumbshit
I know you don't like anecdotes but fuck you My kid in the 3rd grade doing a presentation on nuclear power and of course we had to go to his presentation along with everyone else's (big waste of time btw) and the class room is plastered with propaganda about how fish/eagles/you name it are dying because of nuclear power. Each presentation was identical in these kids all saying how bad nuclear power is. Doesn't matter to me other than once built keep it running in an efficient manner not tear them down - The Teach gave great grades out to everyone - no fact checks what-so-ever. I questioned the teacher on why a more open-minded look was not presented and it seemed all one sided. Boy did I get the ol' stink eye from her.
That is indoctrination and at a young age. Of course, I have to ask you not to turn me into the FBI as a terrorist.

Don’t confuse a college education with being smart. I went to college with many that were not. A lot are teachers. I’m not talking about the good ones. There still are some.

Agree. You support the fascism that binds your ilk to tech oligarchs and "mainstream" media hell bent on perpetual power.
