You have America’s best pair of corners. Trust them. DTR can’t hit himself in the ass with either hand.
The problem with DTR is that he can move, which paralyzes UWs defense, and he can hit big plays given enough time to run around and let the coverage break down.
If they can turn your plan into hits on him and a few sacks then it would probably work. If it just turns into him buying time, ad lobbing, and getting first downs with his legs then he'll look all conference.
Umm, UW plays their safeties 25 yards back. That’s their scheme. That’s their stuff. They don’t change. Trust the process as UCLA becomes yet another team that will throw for less than 100 yards and still beat Washington.
Hm. Every semi athletic qb (and some non athletic qbs) UW has played over the past 4 years has ran all over them to gain 3rd downs at will....but maybe it'll be different this time!
Wait for one of their running backs to break past the second level and be one on one with Asa Turner
Turner will unselfishly occupy a blocker so someone else can make the tackle. There won't be an actual blocker there, nor will there be another tackler with a shot, but he'll get away with it and be back out there later.

Thank you to Jen Cohen and Jimmy Lake for killing the one thing that I cared about in Seattle.
