Starting episode 3. Great so far.

The use of Budos Band in the sound track is perfect.

He had the Power of Twitter, Facebook and the Big 4 media combined and then some. Thankfully He spent 3 dollars for every one earned to eventual oblivion. If his heyday was in the television age, I’m pretty sure we wouldn’t be the same country as we are now.

It would have resembled what we have now. Just without the volume of stakeholders.

In 8th grade we had an assignment to write a paper on someone we admired. I did Ali even though the Nation of Islam was kind of scary to a young Race Bannon in white bread Olympia

But I did admire the stand he took and was anti war myself. He could have stepped forward and spent two years traveling the world doing exhibitions. Instead he had a REAL 5 year prison term over his head that he fought for three years.

Over time even the adults who hated him at the time came to admire that. People tend to admire that which is real

There are other aspects of his life that haven't aged as well but no one is perfect

He was a total cunt to Frasier before the first fight and they are critical of him for it.

But still, the contrasts between Ali and, say, @Kaepsknee are astounding to say the least.

Ali liked to get a little somethin' somethin' all the f'ing time. Even though he was married.

Rumor has it he was in a threesome the night before the first Norton fight.

Allah’s will is to bang as many Nubian princesses as possible.

The footage from this show is just outstanding. Norton was one Tuff SOB.
