Why isn’t Eugene BBQ duck capital?

Howdy Duck fans!

Like many of you I’m stuck in Pacific Daylight Savings Time at some midwestern hotel anticipating tomorrow’s game. ESPN’s SportsCenter is on in the background at my suite in metro Detroit, and they ask Marty & McGee (in Fayetteville, AR for rivalry renewal vs. TX) do they eat pork at Arkansas tailgates. Answer was the best brisket is in Austin and the best hog I’m Arkansas.

Eugene, your turn! Duck is tastier than both! Can’t wait to do the tastiest BBQ and microbrew crawl of them all!

I like eating duck. Eugene should be a duck destination like the Austin area is a brisket destination.
I can imagine hoards of people lining up at “Skinner’s Mudhole” or “Crowley’s” to get some tasty duck.
