Tate is garbage. Glad that fucker is going to detroit. He's the CJ Wilcox of the seahawks. Get somebody in there that can make a routine fucking jumper EVERY game. Tate is an average NFL receiver. And I'd say he barely resides in that class.
Tate is elite after the catch, and he is also one of the best punt returners in the game. That's not garbage. The fact he was asked to get jump balls is because our only non-midget receiver was injured 10 games per season. Good player. But yeah I won't miss him.

How many times has Tate crossed the 50 on a PR? It took Percy Harvin 1 KR to take it to the house. If he returned punts it would be more of the same.
Tate might make 1 electrifying catch, YAC...then he'll drop a routine and critical 3rd and 10. Dat's da fact Jack!. Why would the seahawks pay top $ for a receiver you can't depend on and who show-boats after a 7 yd catch on 1st and 10 and is a punk. Come on dude. Glad he's gone. Clemons disturbs me though. He wasn't ready this year after ACL. Next year I expect him to regain his form and 11 1/2 sacks.
Tate has a couple of unique skills that will be hard to replicate (downfield block, spectacular catch, run after catch), but as a strict route runner, get open to receive a pass kind of guy, he was average. And you don't pay average guys $6 mill per year in this NFL. Now, he's getting really good money to go be a #2 receiver for DetroitFS.

Actually Tate has absolutely elite hands and hardly ever drops anything. That's the fact, Jill.
I wouldn't have paid what Detroit did for him, but now the Seahawks are really dependent on Percy Harvin's health. We'll see how that works out.
I agree with you on Clemons, somebody is going to get a steal with him. Like Harvin he was finally 100% for the Super Bowl and absolutely unstoppable. And Clemons is likely to be healthy next year.
You don't pay $6,000,000 for a third WR unless you're Detroit LIONFS, yet people were bitching about it all over FB.
It would be nice to actually keep a team together like the old days, when FA wasn't some pathetic NFL marketing. gimmick crowed about 24/7 by sports radio goons, but that ship sailed.
