    Maybe. The biggest issue with the US and USSR was their failures to get Pakistani border under control. Pakistan cares about India more than anything. We haven’t seen a version of this war where Pakistan was invested in not actively helping the Taliban to attack the imperialists.

    If some Taliban started working with China there would be splinter groups immediately attacking them
