Seems kinda weird to throw a baby in a pool like that when I've seen my own little kids half-drown in the tub on multiple occasions. That was my only takeaway from the money grab story.

That was how kids were taught to swim in the 90’s. Can specifically remember Mrs Throbber v1.0 chucking our infant in and the kid would paddle and kick like hell to get to the surface. Whereupon, I’d grab the little one before she went down for the count.
