1979 #4 USC @ #15 Washington No Huddle

I have said many times how impactful this game was on my young psyche. USC beat Washington 24-17, with an amazing ending.
If you go to about the 34:00 mark, you can see Doug Martin destroy Charles White on a run to the right side. Then Mark Lee returns a punt to the USC 21-yard line, where it looked for a minute like he would score. Lee had returned 3 punts for TDs that year, including late fourth quarter scores that beat Oregon and California. It looked like he would do it again, but it wasn't to be.
Washington had the ball first and goal, but USC and Ronnie Lott would not let UW cross the goal line. Charles White finished the day with 249 yards rushing.
