“The discrimination people of color face in our health system, there’s a connection between the level of trust in getting the vaccine,” said Laurie Zephyrin, vice president of health system equity at the Commonwealth Fund, which advocates for better access and improved quality in the health system, particularly for people of color and low-income people.
