What about bees?

Last summer I saw one bee at my place. So far this summer I've seen zero. In years past they would be buzzing around my balcony and plants.

Makes me wonder about 4G and people's routers, etc.

We have plenty of bees in Kitsap. Praise Allah as the raspberries are coming in nicely, soon to be followed by the blueberries and then blackberries to end summer.

It's because of varroa mites. In the past couple of years, there's been increased efforts to address the issue. I would expect bee populations to increase over the next few years.

before I left Lebam, on the news I saw a blurb where they wanted people to report sightings of bumblebees. There is a shortage of them somewhere.

I mentioned to the exMrsLebambutstilltheMrs about it and we paid attention to it. In Lebam, we used to see 15-20 bumblebees a day. Of course, it could have been the same one knowing we were doing inventory. Bumblebees are intelligent and tricky.

In other news, scientists are trying to discover why bees are no longer in the Williamette Valley

They moved to Greater Idaho for freedom.

    Bullshit. Bees are Communists.

Bees are cool. They just want to pollenate and serve the queen. Kind of like the Throbber.

It’s the fucking yellowjackets that are bastards.
Ah shit one of those bastards got me in high school. Took a lot of beer to drown that one out.

I killed the little bastard too.

Both bumble and bees are rarely seen this year in Salem. Pretty wild because I had a bumblebee nest in a big fern at my house about 5 years ago. I left them alone because they aren’t aggressive. But like yellow jackets and wasps, they leave the nest come fall and winter and rarely return to the same place the next Season.

Probably hated German Messicans. Bees are noted racists.
