I prefer the hawt talk and/or writing from Eklund, Fat Fetters, Lil’ Kim, Dick Baird, Hugh Millen, Ruthie and Adam Jude, folks who are actually paid for their reporting and analysis . . .

I created the Refuge when the Huskies were on the ascent and posters were getting banned from eDuck. Plus, I thought Meathead would run Oregon into the ground, but obviously he has done a very good job.
eDuck was bought out by CBS(?) . . . 247 . . . They eliminated most of the Boards, including the no holds barred political board (The Shed).
The owner and operator of the site was an Auburn fan, who also owned and operated the Auburn site.
All the former eDuck folks were dumped and the site became more like Dawgman, although nothing can be as bad as the collection of clowns at Dawgman.com.
Any comments that didn’t fall into line led to being labeled a negaduck and quick bans.
The price went up and the content was gooey sweet with a lot of teaser headlines . . . not much substance and the writer’s lacked institutional knowledge of the program’s history.
Bottom line, they didn’t care what many of their customers wanted.
Bottom Line: I am aware of what Doogs are and what Quooks are and the history between the two programs.
Sheet . . . I’m probably as old as Race, but smart enough to get the fuck out of Oregon and the entire west coast.

Thanks for asking.
Duck Refuge as a part of the site . . . Nope.

The content ranges all over the place in quality, a lot of it bad. He uses a lot of “guest writers”.
It is “free”. A good example of: “You get what you pay for” terms of quality.
I haven’t been to the site in years.
