    Hmmm, let me guess why. Start with a demonization of the police. Then toss in the release of thousand and thousand of criminals from our jails and prisons. Add in a large dose of "Society is racist" and laws that have a disparate impact on Obama's sons, shouldn't be enforced. Then add Soros funded DAs who either refuse to prosecute crime, or release people who have committed crime. Add BLM and stir.


    We know how to stop this and how to reduce crime in our society. We just lack the will to do it.

    The irony is it all leads to more dead black men. Is this by design? Maybe, given the tendencies of the racist left. All of this, combined with abortion, feels like a call to genocide by the leftists.

    Do you have a graph comparing the murder rate in those cities over the last 40 years?

    I would assume murder rates fluctuate year to year so I would like a broader sense of how bad it is.

    Yes, murder and violent crime rates were higher when we foolishly went soft on crime in the 1970s and early 80s. In the late 80s and 90s we finally decided to get serious about crime by locking criminals up and keeping them in prison. 3 strikes laws did wonders to cut the crime rates, that you believe are caused in part by systemic white racism, so did zero tolerance policing that Rudy used in NYC and others followed.

    Because leftists are stupid like you, they looked around and said, "hey, the crime rates are really low, why do we have so many people in prison, it must be on account of white racism" we don't need to have so many people in jail. And that was when California got rid of 3 strikes and started decriminalizing crime. Now we're seeing an increase in crime, and liberals once again have their heads up their asses and are blaming Covid and the lock downs and poverty.
