The main question is why does it piss off the coronabros so much to even suggest a coronavirus emerged in a city with a virology lab that does gain of function research on coronaviruses came from the lab doing the research? They lose their shit at the thought that it’s possible it came from the lab and didn’t just happen when some rando ate a bat. In the same city with a lab doing research on the same type of virus.
