The racist horror is real

This was the exact "racist" experience that Michelle and Barack both said they had to endure in racist AmeriKKKa.

And now the real reason why she was upset.

It's about class not race. She was just upset that someone mistook her for a person who worked in retail. Which is really the same problem Michelle had with it.

I've been asked at least a couple of dozen times if I worked in some retail establishment. Asked more than that if I could help a short lady get something from the top shelf.

But it happens much, much more to black people and when it happens to you it's just someone asking for help but when it happens to black people it RACISM!!!

This is one of those heads I win tail you lose situation. Another one of Michelle's examples of racism is that white people don't even really see her. She can be standing in line at a store and white person will get in line in front of her as if she isn't even there. So it's racist if they notice you and ask for help and it's racist if they don't notice you. All the racist bases are covered.

Mrs. Worf's story about being ignored strikes me as thoroughly made up. She is hard to miss and she radiates bitchiness. Who is going to cut in front of a big black lady? This isn't 1964 in the South. No one was cutting in front of black shoppers in Eugene in the 1970s or ever since that. Now if she had a loaded cart and then left it while going back for a forgotten item and she wasn't back when it was her turn at the cashier, then sure. That sounds plausible. She got butt hurt when asked to help out a short lady. So it's not like embellishing is outside her wheelhouse.

Saturday I got asked a question as if I were an employee. I said I don’t work here and went on with my life. The person said, oh, sorry and went on with her life. And yes, I would be a bad person if I went off.

Also, I’ve been cut in line on. The person didn’t see me. When I told them the line was behind me, the said oh, sorry, and went to the back of the line. Everyone moved on.

Harder to do I’ll bet when wearing your blue vest and name tag

Michelle Obama has horror story of when someone cut in front of her in-line waiting to order with her kids.

Ya, that never happened to a white person...ever.

I can believe it happened to her. It happens to me. But it's usually where there isn't really a formal line and you have a number of people standing around who have already ordered and they are waiting for their order and people who haven't yet ordered. I had someone do it to me at the sandwich shop just the other day. I just chalked it up to the woman not paying attention and no big deal but that's my white privilege talking. I don't have the weight of 400 years of slavery to blame every inconvenience or minor slight on my skin color.

I find it most efficient to start at the beginning of any line and walk back until I spot a break in the line caused by someone not paying attention and then just slip in.

    Nobody ever says anything

It's pretty fucking revealing that the BIG examples both she and Obama cited as "evidence" that even they encounter racism in AmeriKKKa today, were being confused with service people and the story about the white woman in the ice cream store who didn't notice that she was already waiting in line.

That's was it. Those were the BIG examples of what a racist shit hole this country still is. Never mind that this racist country gave her a racial quota position at both Princeton and Harvard that neither her grades or test scores warranted. Got her a job in a top 15 law firm out of school that she clearly wasn't qualified for and then got her a make work job at a hospital where she made nearly $300K a year. But is she grateful? Fuck no. She thinks that racism held her back.

Both Michelle and her husband have benefited far, far more from the color of their skin then they were ever harmed by it and it's not even close.

Most of these types? That's racism. I'm white and have been asked several times in a store where this or that is.

Yes, but you weren't asked because of your skin color like she was. Just like Michelle Obama, she "knows" the old white lady only asked her for help because she was black, you know the type.

Orange. I was in lumber, not sinks and toilets. That’s what fired me up. Someone thought I worked in lumber. I was just passing through.

I had an employee who threatened to sue because I didn't give black or white people a day off for MLK day. In reality it was because I didn't give black people the day off.

I was threatened with a lawsuit because I didn't have air conditioning in my maintenance shed. Three maintenance guys, all black, so it was racism.

I was threatened with a lawsuit because I asked a black employee to help the company sell 95 gallon garbage pails on wheels (everyone has them now but we were on the forefront of the industry) into the city of Atlanta which is run by racist black people who will only buy from black people. My fellow employee didn't care that we were making these carts in Atlanta or that his paycheck and the company depended on the sale, he found it more profitable to threaten to sue me. He grew up in Atlanta and knew everyone in city government so I thought he could help. I told him to fuck off, and me and my sales rep made a call on the Director of Public Works who ultimately was going to make the decision. He proceeded to ask for a bribe, the only time in 35 years of doing business I w as asked for a bribe. I declined, a competing company who hired his son who was 19, got a huge salary, got the business. 6 months later the local TV station asked me to talk with them about corruption. I spoke with them without incriminating anyone and the PWD kept his job but the business was given to a foreign company. Rotten to the core and racist as hell.

BO and that racist bitch he is married to are lower than low.

    “Oh I’m sorry, I don’t work here”

It’s easy, lady. Not everything needs to be the grievance olympics. Be polite, keep it moving, and go about your fucking day.

But then you’d miss the chance at tweeting in anger over being mistaken for but a lowly retail employee.

Sounds kinda elitist, but what do I know🤷‍♂️

Once wore a red polo to Target and was asked for help by two people. Wasn't outraged.

Had a job in my mid 20s where the unofficial uniform was a pair of pleated khakis a button down shirt and the standard striped college tie.

I couldn't go into a May Company or Macy's without someone asking me for help. Pre-smart phones I was always asked for directions. Must have been my honest and approachable face. Or maybe I had a face that looked like I worked in retail and all those folks were lookin down on me. Fuckers!!

"These types?" Why so racist, Doc?

And if the doc expects people to know her profession on sight, why isn't she wearing a lab coat and a name tag with "MD" on it?

Or am I supposed to presume every black woman in a store is a physician?

    Kicking myself.

Couple of years ago I flew from Boston to Raleigh to catch up with my family at a soccer tournament. Went up to my room and changed out of my suit grabbed a drink at the bar and met up with the rest of the parents. I started to settle down with the group when a couple of other guests looked at me and asked if I was their Uber driver. I stood up grabbed my drink and told them yes and to just wait right there.

1988 Million Dollar Saloon strip joint, Dallas, TX. Walking in the front door with some buddies and a big old cadillac with the horns on the front of the hood pulled up. Guy flipped me a $20 and his keys and asked me park it where it would safe. Took the $20, parked it and as I was coming back to the front door I was told by the valet that if I gave up the $20 i could go in. If not there would be no admittance. Flipped him the $20, went in and then was screamed at by the owner of the caddy. What a great night that was. We still are having a good laugh over that.
