The OHA is making near minimum wage employees do their dirty work by requiring stores that allow maskless customers in to verify their vaccination status.

Effectively taking away any motivation for most businesses to remove masks restrictions.

Walmart, Costco, Target and other big boxes have already pledged to not ask for verification. So that would put them in violation in Oregon. But since those companies have deep pockets, you can be sure no OSHA fines will ensue. Meanwhile the little guys will probably be piled on by OSHA.

It’s crazy that there are actually people (the min wage workers) pathetic they would risk getting screamed at by someone not wearing a mask.

Getting mad about people not wearing masks gives them something to do in their pathetic existence.

I’d guess about 1 in 20 would get off on telling people to put their mask on. The others wouldn’t do it if they didn’t have to.

Our Costco just went mask less. Sort of surprised since they were the first total mask nazis in Portland. Fred Meyer is still scared and requiring masks.
