People are smart. If they apply, they’ll be offered a job which will kill their unemployment benefits. That $50 will cost them thousands. Why would they want to end that train?
It’s crazy. Minimum wage in ID is $7.50, and fast food restaurants are offering almost double that. They’re putting fliers in your food bag to let you know they’re hiring too. They’re desperate. Their are tons of jobs available, but the government has disincentivized working.
What is obviously needed is more illiterate illegal aliens who don't speak English. This is just Chamber of Commerce whining. I agree that the stimulus has disincentivized workers, but let this roll through and if it takes $20 an hour so be it. The market and border control was working until dems shut the country down in March of 2020.
The car wash in CDA had their sign saying starting wage was $15.00 . The car wash that's basically fully automated and the employees just wave at you.
Lolz. It’s true. At Brown Bear, which is a kick ass wash btw, row of them stand at the front entrance of the wash and none at the back with towels etc like they used to. The entire process is automated. I don’t even need the kid to tell me “neutral” anymore. The light does that. They literally do nothing that I can see.
How much per month? How often do u wash it? Askin for a fren.
3 wash levels. basic is $20 mid level $25 and deluxe $30. I wash a couple times a week. At least once. Metro car wash on 95 just north of Apple Way.
Curious because rust seems to be a problem with whatever they clear the roads with during the winter . . . And, of course, the dust.
Some amazing car washes around. Haven’t seen any with a monthly rate up my way.
Deluxe is $12 per wash . . .
Yes I run mine through a couple times a week to clean off the Calcium Chloride from winter, mud from spring and fall and dust from summer. Calcium Chloride isn't as bad as salt but still corrosive.
