    Thanks for the report.

I'm not surprised by the positive position group reports. UW is flush with good athletes. The only question is whether they can play good at football against other teams in every game.

The offensive line cant win 1v1s against a player who has never seen the field (Trice)

    So, like we say...

    No

Martin is a quick twitch guy and is physical at the point of attack. He's very athletic in a straight line but lacks the coordination to be an elite agility guy when it comes to using spin moves and the like. I'm sure Martin will make plays as a "pursuit" guy who chases plays down from behind given how fast he is.

I remember DDY scolding me for saying this about Martin when we were recruting him out of high school. He's big and fast, but he's very stiff and can't bend around the edge.

Back in spring to enlighten yee on the state of the qb room, WDE, ILB and safety. Until then, you goofs try and take an hour or 2 off per day to keep the boyfriends happy. Study the roster, watch the season in "60" and qualify yourselves for an upper level discussion with UW-Elvis in April. Good luck

DJ Johnson was another similar one. It was obvious he was fast, but his highlight tape consisted of running plays down from behind. There were no pass rush moves, power moves, very few if any instinctual plays.

Big and fast does not equal good. It’s one part of the equation.
