Simultaneously seeing sitting President Trump as the great-and-powerful and as a hapless victim, is a level of MAGAtardation I cannot get my head around.

Agree. And similar to the msnbc view that he's a ruthless facist and a feckless retard.

The “media” is more propaganda driven than at any point I can ever recall ... it’s sad

It’s not really that controversial to me to say that that presence largely hurt Trump

That said Trump hurt himself in a number of ways that distracted from the successes he could point to

    Both angles can be true

I only have a quibble with the 'facist' part. That word was drilled into everyone and I still can't see any evidence that actually happened. Didn't see any journalists or foes jailed or disappeared.

    Yes they do

Trump has no one to blame but himself for losing to Biden

Biden’s administration is going to overstep so much that there will likely be reckonings for that in 2022/2024 ... that’s also why there is such an urgency to get all of this passed now to try to insulate the impact as much as possible

The path forward is pretty obvious
The path forward was to vote for the candidate with the best policies. That was Trump. The path forward is not feelz. It is hard policies that have consequences. Voting for a dementia patient that was bought and paid for by the chicoms isn't.
    I don’t disagree

But I think we all know that there are a lot of people out there that can’t get out of the way of their feelings
So why didn't you vote for Trump? Honest question, pretty sure I'll hate your answer.

I thought the BO admin was the most corrupt but in short fashion that idiot biden has shown BO was a pup.
Biden is not running things, he's completely gone. This is BO's third term, which is why it looks like the first two on steroids.
    Not remotely like BO.

Closer to LBJ, but without the huge Democratic Congressional majority.
You mean a racist who's policies didn't work and ended up making things much worse who got us into an an unwinnable war?

Imagine losing to a guy like that though.
In today's media, it wouldn't matter if it was Trump or the Gipper. Useful idiots like you would still love to lie and be lied to. You're part of the crowd that loves government and the tryanny against privatization and liberty. That crowd represents roughly 50% of the population and won't understand why the expansion of social welfare, higher taxes and hundreds of trillions in unfunded liabilities for government employees will ultimately lead to chains for you or some generation to come after you. Your ignorance and or your greed will eventually betray you as history has proven will happen again.

Trump gets some of the blame but I don't know how you can look at the array of forces lined up against him and put in all on Trump.
    No question on that

I think Trump turned off way too many people (notably suburban women) that couldn’t stomach voting for Trump for a number of reasons

Those same people largely put their heads in the sand when it came to Biden and what was painfully obvious and not hidden. Whether it was pure ignorance on their behalf, falling hook/line/sinker for the unity message, or not believing that Biden would overstep his powers as mean bad Orange man said that would Biden would, they voted for Biden in record numbers.

I suspect that many of those same voters are going to realize how much they fucked up when they realize their utopian view of the world isn’t reality when the state of the world can’t be blamed on Trump anymore takes hold.

If not, this becomes the new normal and we may as well look at the government like the opening of Animal House where we obediently say “thank you sir may I have another”
    You enabled it

    Stop crying about it

    You're getting more don't worry

    Homerun in your comparison.
    LBJ the hero

Well if the dementia patient is......
