Nothing new here. Just close all the stores in the Problem Areas like businesses have been doing before.

Difference between then and now is you can have anything you want or need delivered so, Michele won’t need to cry fake tears about food deserts.

Shit shoplifting/theft is insane. A typical hit is CVS. Two women, I won't mention their description, walk in get a cart and stroll down the make up isle scraping the shelves bare and into the cart. They simply walk out dump the cart into the trunk of a waiting car and drive off.

If caught they're issued a ticket and released. They'll just stop at another store. Many stores now have to invest in a system to secure all the cosmetics.

They do the same with liquor in grocery stores.

Yeah for some inexplicable reason decriminalizing crime, handing out "free" needles, allowing open air drug sales and drug usage, allowing people to sleep, shit and piss on public sidewalks, and pay for their drug habits through shoplifting and stealing stuff out of people's cars without any fear of arrest or prosecution, has lead to an explosion in crime and homelessness. It's weird, I can't figure it out.

SBOs once again taking it in the ass.

Walgreens and Home Depot can absorb the hit on their P&L.

The mom and pop Mexican grocer or hardware store? Not so much.

So basically everything we are doing from taxation to public health to community LE initiatives is aimed at destroying Main Street, and when Main Street goes, all that’s left is Wall St and government.

Classical liberals should be screaming bloody murder at their elected officials, but they’re too afraid of being called racists by the Twitter woke mob.

    These are the bad times.

Except liberals want big business and government to control everything ... please find me evidence that there is a desire for small business to be successful

Nobody can be THAT naive and not think that the outcome wasn’t predictable

In Portland with its huge small business owned restaurants, the highly democrat restaurants have been pretty quiet about the lockdowns and many went broke rather than stand up to Shut Down Kate Brown.

I’m talking classical liberals, like myself. Those who are distrustful of big government and monopolistic corporate practices.
