    Madam, I specifically said it's not murder. The State can't possibly prove he wouldn't have stroked out shortly after being assaulted even if he hadn't been assaulted.

    Common sense let's you recognize the reasonable doubt without losing sight of what's probable.

    I'm a little confused by the thread. Not rhetorically ... actually confused.

    So is the issue with the Trump Bros that the narrative was that the guy died from blows to the head and that was a lie? That's one question, and a fair one.

    And is @HHusky making the point that the beating or whatever happened to the guy is likely linked to the strokes?

    Is there a dispute about whether anything at all happened to him during the siege? Yeah I can look it up but I spend my free time here, so fuck off in advance.

    If nothing physically happened to him, I'd say the link between the siege and a stroke weeks later, while interesting, is attenuated. If he got the ever loving shit beat out of him, w/ or w/o an extinguisher or whatever the fuck it supposedly was, then yeah, that seems like a connection. I'm not a doc, but if you beat the shit out of someone past a given age and they die of a stroke a few weeks later, if it's one of mine I have questions at least.

    Or again, is the issue that none of that matters and that the media jumped the gun?

    Rather obviously (sounds familiar, don't it?) he had a stressful day at work, might have ingested a little bear spray, but not a lot, went home and had a couple strokes that did him in.

    Press then lied its ass off for weeks, along with dems who exploited the fuck out of "Trumps Goons Beat a Cop to Death with a fire extinquisher! Fucking Hypocrites! They were always on the cops side when they were beating and killing blacks and allies! Fuck You, Trump! Orange Man Bad! Orange Man Bad!"

    The issue is lying liars, the lies they tell and the lying little libs like H who lie and love to be lied to by the lying liars.

    I'm saying that having two strokes is almost certainly evidence that there was an underlying issue that might have killed him in the near future regardless. I don't think it's likely that the strokes just coincidentally occurred within 6 hours of the riots. But I don't want to even attempt to criminalize causing fatal strokes because reasonable doubt is necessarily going to be present.
