In all seriousness, I think this is the third or fourth time since UW has had a truly dominate/very good OL (2000) that the promise has been that there are veterans with multiple years of starting who looked good the close out the previous year and then the next year comes and they're getting pushed in by average Pac-12 teams again. I will believe it when I see it.
I think the last time they had a good OL was arguably 2016 and that line came into the year very young with little expectations.
I thought they were pretty good last year. No sacks in four games is major. Need to be dominant tho. If they are, we will be very hard to beat.
I blame the inside check down runs and rotating too many backs more than than the OL for our running game being average.
Yeah, I mostly liked the offensive line last year, especially in pass protection. My main pessimism comes from a track record of liking the offensive line at the end of a season, returning mostly if not all of the same linemen and then suddenly the next year they don't look as good. I think UW has as much talent as they've had there in a long time and I liked Huff's coaching in last year's four games but it's on the list of things I need to see to believe.
The line will be good, but hardcore husky will continue to lash out at them for not carving holes through 8 man fronts for telegraphed runs off center.

Still waiting on the reboot of the 2000 OL. This franchise is getting repetitive though I am partial to Part II: The Cascade Front
