You do realize I'm extremely bullish on Peterman long term, right?sarktastic said:
Somebody please show this punk how to find the roster on the Internet.RoadDawg55 said:
Sark didn't win 9 games.sarktastic said:
Petersen is taking over a 9 win team with the starting OL and the front 7 on D returning. 3 four star QB's, a stable of decent running backs, and very good weapons at WR. He should be able to win right away with these guys. Now, kindly fuck off.RoadDawg55 said:
Peterman is focused on culture change.
He lost the starter at QB, RB and TE. Starting skill talent on it's way to the NFL over Kim's stars, sorry... and brand new coaches with a brand systems to boot. I'll predict a win total when we know who's lining up to play.
You realize my argument has to do with transition turmoil typically associated when a great coach with discipline replaces a dude brah wannaabe combined with the loss of the key skill players off last years roster, right?
But hey... I 'want' a natty now, so maybe I should just come around to your way of thinking... blind hope -
Remember Auburn went 3-9 prior to Malzhan taking over. Next season they are 14-2 and in the National Championship game. There's a reason why some HC are sought after. They can have an immediate impact on a team. We have the building blocks to make a Pac-12 Championship run. We've got 4 winnable OOC games to get acclimated and a HC that doesn't have training wheels on. We have coaches that recruit ...no recruiters that coach. I think we're ready be about that action boss.

Look into it dumbfuck.
Malzahn won with his guys. Go check out those recruiting classes. 3-9 was a player strike. Coach got his ass run and their former OC returns -

The first four are j.v. games. Just a 10-3 reg. season only requires a 6-3 league finish. Anything less is total failure. -
A good HC wins with the talent he has regardless of whether they are "his" guys or not. I realize that teams quit on their coaches. USC quit on Kiffin but that really doesn't matter in the context of seasonal turn-arounds. Your thesis that we have a new HC and players and that is something to worry about is really anti-thetical to the real point. It doesn't matter really because given Petersen's record of success it's more likely the UW finds instant success just like Auburn did.sarktastic said:

Dude, we don't have middling talent on this team. Petersen wouldn't come here to do a rebuild job. I love Price and Sankey and ASJ but consider: Price was shell-shocked so badly after last season I'd almost rather have Miles in there just for the sake of running with a purpose. ASJ is NFL-caliber obviously but he's fucking lazy; if his dumbass catches that ball at the end of the Stanford game (not the controversial play) we kick into OT at a minimum. And yes, Sankey is amazing but remember he could barely crack the lineup before Callier got hurt. We brought Petersen in to solve these 3 situations and I have confidence he will.

The Dawg TB get bigger now. D.Wash has to be about 215. Coleman is probably 215-220. We'll be fine in the run game. Replacing Price will be difficult but after watching some BSU games I like how there's always an outlet guy. We shouldn't be giving up a lot of sacks.
2 weeks to Spring Practice. I cannot wait. -

I forgot about that shit; too much cheap beer. That fucking pissed me off more than any other play this season.
Plays like that have defined the last decade+ of Huskieieiee football. Pre-season AA TE can't even catch the fucking ball. Pre-season Heisman Lockner can't even will his way to a win over BYU in the season opener.
Hopefully this bullshit ends under Peterman's iron fist.
