Maybe. Just reading the tea leaves. Lake just followed Roberts, Megwa, Morrison, and Tafiti today. They all followed back. Just guessing.KrunkJuice said:
Your good friend @sonics1993 said he was concerned with Stanford for Tafiti. Hope you are right.backthepack said:I think Tafiti committed along with Roberts, Morrison, and Megwa.

This guy got a Hudl?

Wouldn’t it make sense to follow earlier… lake still thinks udub is this highly coveted offer and he can play hard to get like that hot chick in HS that you eventually nailed.backthepack said:

Win 10 games without just running the damn ball and then pop-off. -
Gotta pull Conerly. Was hoping he'd be part of this set of commits.backthepack said:
Tafiti would be the best player in our class not named Conerly imobluechipuwrecruits said:

Why are we so good at recruiting defensive tackles... but so shit at recruiting edge talent?
-
We've been better at recruiting the edges the last couple years.BroadcastingDawg said:Why are we so good at recruiting defensive tackles... but so shit at recruiting edge talent?
Remains to be seen how we'll do now that K is gone. -
Our players on the edge are better than our DT’s.BroadcastingDawg said:Why are we so good at recruiting defensive tackles... but so shit at recruiting edge talent?

I've always said it's because of the scheme previously ... it doesn't "speak" to top end edge players.BroadcastingDawg said:Why are we so good at recruiting defensive tackles... but so shit at recruiting edge talent?
If you tell a 5* player "one of your most important responsibilities is setting the edge so it funnels the action towards the middle ... a smaller field makes for a winning team etc ..."
that 5* player is going to say "fuck that shit ... imma rushing the quarterback and destroying some dude!"
You have to completely sell the concept to 17/18 year olds and some of those high end players don't want to hear about discipline etc.
That's why it's easier to sell to players like Tryon that need years to develop. In fact, Tryon and what's his name that got hurt are our biggest selling points. We can tell current prospects that you could be the next Tryon and 1st round pick because the process works. -
Pop on the 2020 ZTF tape and that’ll take care of that.animate said:

Smells probably sells the couch after 2 seasons at UO and ends up at UNLV or Nevada, w/ respectTequilla said:I’m going to enjoy when we run the ball right down Sir Smells throat

Oregon isn't going to sign him, they only offered him to keep him from going here.BeerThirty said:

If this is Virta Vea Part Deux, something wong.
There's more information available on the interwebs on Teen Boyz yet the divergence in evaluation widens. More and more you're seeing the folks that do this 24-7 for living come back and say, 'who.gif' and the inevitable follow-on they whiffed.
Asleep at the wheel? They don't know what they're talking about? Or is Jimmy plucking these undervalued 3 star seeming projects and getting his guyz in there.
Have a feeling it's a mix of abundance. Either way, watching how these last two UW classes develop and UW's corresponding W-L ends up will be interesting. -
He’s a 4 star dude
-
-
Yeah they did. 381 composite is not far from a 4 star there I believe. He's a borderline 3/4 star guy. More highly regarded than Vea was though the claim has always been that Vea was overlooked because no one thought he would qualify. Which makes sense for schools to overlook him for that reason. Makes no sense for recruiting sites. Sets them up to look stupid.Baseman said: -

Because it’s an anomaly and thus not taken seriously. Like a broken clock being right twice a day.Baseman said:

Regarding his ranking, he was kind of a nobody until camps started. Both 247 and rivals had him as a mid-level 3-star. ESPN didn't have a ranking for him. When 247 updated he was bumped to a 4 star due to dominating at camps. I don't think rivals has updated yet and ESPN still doesn't have him ranked anywhere
