Cost Oregon a women’s title last year and a deep run from the men. So not sure the positives outweigh the negatives

You might be right, but it’s all hypothetical. We don’t know what their runs would have been. But we do know how the coaches used it to their advantage in recruiting. It also helped them win the Pac 12 conference in football, and it has advanced the men in the NCAA tournament.
