Lake Superior is now 92% frozen, a new record (since the Ice Age). Comments? Will Illegal Canadians sneak across the ice?

  • I like to call a 20 year record a new record since the Ice Age. That's what I like to do.

I like to call a 20 year record a new record since the Ice Age. That's what I like to do.

I'm guessing you also like to say that mammals first appeared on Earth about 225 million years ago, even though you weren't there to verify it.

But you (and Al Gore) do it all the time.

How's that drought going in California?

But CD said that the earth is only 6,000 years old?

You REALLY need to pay attention.

    SAN FRANCISCO —

The latest in a series storm fronts rolled into the Bay Area early Thursday, triggering a nightmare morning commute and bringing relief to the parched hillsides and depleted reservoirs throughout the Bay Area.

KTVU meteorologist Steve Paulson said Thursday’s rain was a mere prelude to a wet weekend which will bring heavy showers to the region.

Changing the mantra to "Climate Change" really cracks me up. The next "Change" I predict will be massive mudslides. LMAO!

The reason that the rains coming to SF are such a big deal is because of how dry it's been there the past year. Drought dries out the soil, which will then be unable to absorb any runoff, likely causing catastrophic flooding. This is what global warming people talk about when they refer to the consequences of climate change.

I'm waiting for some clown to bring up carbon dating on mammalian bones. The THEORY of carbon dating is a fine theory, but it's just a theory. Fact is something that's proven and verifiable.

So, when I witnessed the same phenomenon in the 60's THAT was the change or is THIS the change. I talked to a soils engineer 30 years ago in CA and he said this cycle of drought followed by heavy rain has been going on in CA forever. He said that's what created many of the cliffs. I guess he was stupid.

He wasn't wrong, you lack comprehension.

C'mon man. You know you need to DIAFF if you don't trust the scientific prowess of someone named 'doogsinparadise' over that of a mere soils engineer.

Yeah, we were looking at a cliff with a great view and he said, "how do you think that cliff got there in the first place?" I didn't buy the house. One year later it went down the hill all the way to SF Bay. They never found the occupants...

...and that was before Al Gore invented Global Warming.

Yes droughts like rainstorms are new phenomena.

In fact this harkens back to the heady times when El Nino and La Nina were invented.

BTW... How's that 2nd "unprecendented" ice storm in the South playing out?

I like to claim a rain storm makes up for a severe drought. That's what I like to do.
  • It's not global warming, it's climate change. It's extreme climate conditions meaning record highs and lows.

You are actually proving the climate change people right with your poasts but are too stupid to realize it.

99% of the scientist in the world believe in Climate Change. Dumb people who believe in a book of fairy tales don't.

Yes the climate changes. Always has. Big fucking deal

The problem is how the alarmists theories have changed to match how the climate is changing. Every bit as big a fairy tale as any religion you don't like

There is no consensus on man's role or what can be done if man is at fault.
