Well an interesting thing happened today...
Earlier today, the top story on CNN was a fairly favorable article on Florida and DeSantis' policies. My theory is CNN needs a whipping boy and it won't be effective if he's not a household name. They'll prop him up and cover him trying to build him up so they can later attack him.

The trump vacuum is a big problem for them. On top of that, eyeballs are dropping which is resulting in ad revenue dropping. CNN needs a new enemy. -

No doubt they will, @mellodawg is already on board with nonsensical no backup attacks. Ron’s got the best record of anybody right now, and it’s going to look better and better, he’s going to be a hard target. I was going to write a mini rant on the topic and after writing it out decided not to post it because it just doesn’t feel right now that as a society we’re able to have difficult conversations in a productive manner.
