    Quite a life

People just don't live lives like this anymore. And I'm being serious. Back in the 50's and early 60's, any old WW2 vet with a little grit could get the National Forest Service to let them throw up a double chair and a rope tow. Good luck with that now.

There's plenty of opportunity still in this country, but it's not just "get off my lawn" stuff to say that the path is a lot vastly different. My great grand pappy had to leave school after the 8th grade to support the fam. Then he went on to basically run the show at the Victoria County Club. That's for Stanford grads now.
