We should stay on standard time all year around. No reason for it to be light out until 9:30pm and 90 degrees until 11:30pm. Summer nights are already way longer without the extra hour, anyway.

When it comes to how to spend a summer night, I'm hanging with the Throbber. Phuck the Amish approach to life. I'm good with a bloody mary at 11:00 AM regardless of PST or PDT. But, oh, those summer nights.

You can still go do whatever you want during the evening. But try sleeping when it's still that hot out and it's barely dark. Some of us have jobs. If you don't have a job, or you work flexible hours or whatever, then it doesn't matter if you're on a cruise at 7: 30 or 8:30...the planet will still be in the same position. Work, however, doesn't start an extra hour later so we still have to go to bed at the same time.

Sure, but I have air conditioning (you should try it). And when I had a job and got home at 6:00 I really liked having another hour of daylight. Just make it permanent.

The Throbber does love himself some 8:30PM cocktails as the sun sets.
Fuck the Standard Timers. Fuck them all.
Plus it's frowned upon if you don't have 57 guns.
8:30PM cocktail cruises > 7:30 PM cocktail cruises.
Dark at 3:45 sucks
If you don’t think so, you can fuck the fuck off
Or old - who the fuck goes to bed at 9PM?
