I first got interested in Pacepa during college. I had a friend that was all about history and politics. Then Pacepa wrote a book called Red Horizons and I was fascinated. His book Programmed to kill was excellent and in my opinion the truth about the Kennedy assassination. However, if anyone would like a great read on just how willing our media and political liberal elites are to swallow negative propaganda about our country put out by the Soviets, you absolutely must read Disinformation. It is the bible on the gullible idiots that are the left. Recounting just how easy it is to get progressives to hate their own country is interesting stuff. You definitely understand who the weak minded and gullible people of this country are and it all starts with self loathing and a lack of independent thinking. Gullible leftists who simply have to hear one dishonest negative soviet born piece of propaganda about the worlds most generous and free society and in an instant there is a dark hearted hatred for the very society that has let them be whatever they want to be.
