Pretty incredible how if you work hard to make a recruiting class you can produce a good recruiting class. Instead of going on vacation to Hawaii or coaching at his old school for FREE PUB!! Petersen salvaged this class and then some.
Doogs told us back in 2009 and some of you old timers I'm sure back in 2005 that you can't blame the coach it's his first year you can't expect him to have a decent class with only being on the job for two months.
Yet same doogs didn't get Petersen that same benefit of the doubt. Instead Petersen despite what PassionFS, Kim and others said did prove he can recruit at this level. No way in hell Baker comes to UW if Dude Brah was our coach as well as Kaleb McGary.
Petersen is bringing in a good class and his specialty is player development. With the Seahawks winning a SB and now Petersen paving the way for UW going forward football in this town is going to be pretty fucking awesome!
I wish it were September already as I can actually enjoy football weekends again.

I always find it funny how when a high profile local guy commits to UW there is always some coog who saw him play in HS and wasn't impressed at all. Some WSU recruit who played against him though looked phenomenal.

Butch said before the year that Baker was possibly the best player he has ever coached. I think Jack is about as elite as they come and Budda will have his work cut out to be as good as him, but that is high praise.
