Now imagine how good our offense would have graded out if we didn’t run or throw to a RB on 14/18 first downs across first four Utah drives and first three Stanford drives.

This is really more of an indictment on the defense than the offense.
Shitty offense put UW down three touchdowns in half one, twice, and struggled to put away an inept beav. All shitty teams.
Favorable stats don't erase those facts. Why does anyone keep trying?
Because they understand football?
Please elaborate.
Not saying I do understand football. My limited grasp told me what I've already said here. The offense showed potential, and could be good if it's called a little better.
I just don't agree with the attempts to defend the limited amount we've seen. We all know it worked great for a couple of stretches in two games, but it was too predictable and pretty inept for longer stretches. All I'm saying is that needs to improve, not that I don't think the OC is capable.

Limited amount we've seen is the key
An abortion of a covid riddled joke of a season
We're analyzing a half not being good enough in a win
I only poked at you in the hopes of starting a brawl
If you hate the offense bring up the Stanford game. Shaw had a decent team when Mills played but he shouldn't have been able to clown us like that at home.
Utah? Who cares, they came out with a QB we obviously didn't scout well and still skulled them in the second half. They fumbled in our end but other than that I thought we dominated like we should have when it mattered.
Beavlet? I mean Jimmy wanted to press on Smith for whatever reason (because they're beavlet and we can) and it kind of didn't work out and we looked silly and allowed dumb fucks to assert that a bad spot was the difference in the game, in the first play of the fourth quarter.
Running into a loaded box is stupid, they need to put it into Morris' hands a bit more because he has the weapons and the opportunities look easy to take advantage of.
I hated the Donovan hire, but the offense was not bad last year. We were horrible on offense in the years before last year.
We were improved. Running into the box with JAG RB’s was frustrating, but Lake and Donovan are committed to running the ball.
We don’t need to spread it out and throw it because other teams do. Copycat bullshit rarely works. Get the running game going and dominate the weak/finesse PAC 12. We have seen the best teams in the conference routinely do this. It works.

Kind of bored
Or....I liked the offense and provided statistical evidence only to poke the bear at those that dont
