I used to exit the train at the Mission Station in the 90s & 00s. No more. Embarcadero or bust. Amazing how fast that whole area turned to shit while Twitter thrives right down the street on the subsidies, giveaways and shelters the City bribed them with to stay in S.F.

The Mission can be a little wild, but it doesn’t hold a candle to the Tenderloin. In fact, one of my favorite Italian bar/restaurants is in the Mission.

The T-Loin, and immediate surrounding blocks, is a total shithole and half of Union Sq is overrun by homeless beggars. It’s too bad, too, because SF is a beautiful city, otherwise. -

Mission is fine, the TL(what the locals call it) is worse than the third world... my favorite story from there is I was driving my uber, stopped at a light and this nut comes walking around car with. Hatchet. He moves away and raises it and starts charging at someone... was nuts... and then there is the nightly zombie Dodging... if you want to see real night of tjr living dead, go there. Now as for the rest of the city, although techified, it is still fun, Valencia street in the mission is safe and fun. Marina is still nice, North Beach still has amazing food, love me some Mona Lisa! And the tourist Areas are still safe.
