Where exactly would he fit into a depth chart with ZTF, Smalls, Latu, and Bowman already there? You gonna start him over Latu or Smalls and let them transfer out?
It’s called depth. A&M sucks dick at developing kids. I’d love to have that kid be a rotational piece for us for 2 years. He can kick inside to 3 tech even. He’s already big enough. Getting both would be awesome.

Obviously he hasn't worked out at ATM, but they brought him there for a reason. It's a risk free move to give him a shot at a position that he isn't desperately needed. It's all upside.
