(CNN)The Justice Department on Wednesday dropped an affirmative action lawsuit the Trump administration had filed against Yale University last year accusing the school of discriminating against Asian American and White applicants in its undergraduate admissions process.

The lawsuit was originally filed in October when the department, led by then-Attorney General William Barr, alleged: "Yale rejects scores of Asian American and white applicants each year based on their race."

So "merit" when it comes to athletics is a perfectly acceptable way to select who gets the job but "merit" when it comes to academics and college admission is racist. Btw, this is another great example of how Asians lose their minority statues when they bump up against one of the left's 3rd rails.

They've created a racial spoils system in order to reward their supporters and anyone who threatens that system will be destroyed. They have no problem using race to discriminate against people as long as the "right" people are being discriminated against.
