This is national, not regional. Regional is even tighter.
A "healthy" market has 3+ mos of inventory.

What homeowner wants to sell a house during covid if they don't have to? Have a bunch of strangers going through your house potentially spreading virus, then you have to move out, and buy another house when few others are selling?
Plus, something like 30% of millennials have moved back home with their parents, so those parents won't be downsizing anytime soon to a condo in Boca or Scottsdale.
And permits for new construction have been restricted for all of 2020.
I'd hate to be a house buyer in this market. -
