The best thing Mario brought in from the sec is cutting dead weight at the end of every season. After 1-2 years it’s clear if a kid is going to be a contributor or not. Pac12 schools historically have let them stay on the roster till graduation, preventing the program from bringing in better talent immediately. The SEC has been medically retiring/telling those kids to gtfo for over a decade. Glad we’re following suit
