Trump's assault on the First Amendment and the press

White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield told CNN this week that President Joe Biden and his administration’s officials might not be available to networks that “are willfully lying” or releasing misinformation.
During an interview following the inauguration, CNN host Alisyn Camerota asked Bedingfield about a line from Biden’s speech about fighting “lies told for power and for profit,” and whether that was “a direct shot at some of the media companies that lied about the election results.”
She added, “We know who they are. They are right-wing companies, some are more fringe than others, at this point, or more extreme than others. And so if they continue to engage in lies, something that he is trying to combat, what is your communication strategy, will you deny those networks any interviews, I mean what happens if they revert to form immediately?”
Might as well blame Trump for this too
The media shit on Donald for 5 years and he never backed down from a fight and was accused of a chilling effect on press freedom
Dementia Joe is quitting before he starts
Send money to the GOP to fight this!!!!!

No argument, but they are the only realistic defense against the party that just opened our borders, corrupted our census by requiring that illegal aliens are included, colluded with big tech to interfere in an election, squash dissenting voices and destroy peoples lives and businesses, perform extreme vetting on our troops while dropping that requirement for bad actors from foreign countries, force national guardsmen to sleep in concrete parking garages, destroy our energy independence and the high paying jobs that went with it, send troops into Syria ...... I could go on, the dems have been busy these past two days. They need to be stopped.DerekJohnson said:

The joke in the original was dumb but far from scandalous in my opinion. It did, however, as the Reason reporter poonted out, give a sense of what Kamalalalalalala is like.
The Post's actions and terrible answer are the scandalous part. WaPo is untrustworthy. -
The WAPO has been a slanted, democrat-pumping propaganda machine ever since Bezos bought it. If it weren't for Woodward & Bernstein's work in the early 70's, it wouldn't be considered a credible news source today, like, say, the "paper of record."GrundleStiltzkin said:

Democracy dies in Darkness. I'm serious here, what's the difference between our current media and the old Soviet Union's Pravda? What moral authority does the United States still possess when they try to lecture other governments on the importance of a free press?GrundleStiltzkin said:Might deserve owen thread but didn't want to make one. Add to that our "moral authority" in "helping" countries ensure "election integrity" around the globe. That ship sailed over Niagra Falls.SFGbob said:
