Got in end of October after fell from 58-50. Picked up another batch around 45, ultimately bottomed out around 42 ish.

They've allready announced the CEO is "leaving" end of February, and Dan Loeb from 3rd point (big fish activist) is in the stock which has pushed it from 48-58 last 3 weeks.

Take profits and move on. Can't believe there is anything in report that would be catalyst for move higher. New CEO is from VMWARE. He has a big job in front of him. Huge company to try and pivot. They are not at IBM level in terms of being left behind, but multiple companies are eating their lunch.

Stock was at 70 Feb 2020 b4 covid when their margins and chip sales were full speed ahead.

It could get back there someday, but the next 10 points up will be a slow drip to do so.

Intel sat on their laurels thinking they had AMD beat. For the longest time they were right. But then they kept releasing minor refreshes and slight improvements yearly like fucking Madden and Call of Duty while Lisa Su was cracking the whip and driving real advances. Intel made their own bed.

How about a follow up? Did you make enough for hookers and blow?

It's gone up $4 a share since his post so I'm guessing he did not sell high.

Jumped 4 Thursday running into close b/c people got wind of what they were going to report (outsourcing of chips, raising dividend 5%)

After the bell post quarterly report stock gave up majority of gain it made. They won't have next gen chips ready until 2023 is biggest canary in coal mine I see.

When saw it was at 62 late in trading session Thursday sold another 1/4 position. Have 1/4 left.

Think it treads in this range for next 18 months or so.

IMO you can trade it, but hard to look at it as long term investment unless it fell another 20 points.
