There's been more than a few times I've turned into a combination of Franz Klammer and Brian Boitano on my icy mountain road when I get out to clear a downed tree or something. Feel that dude's pain.

I actually have these spiky souled things that clip on over my boots to prevent such a thing.

I have them but they are so hard to put on I usually don't use them. I haven't found any that are meant for men's shoes. Size 16.
