None of their talking heads could believe they did that to Herman after only four years, and you can't expect him to be able to build a program there in that short of time.
JFC it's Texas. Tom Herman had access to anything he needs or wants. If there was a 5 star recruit in Florida he wanted to visit, he has 5 private jets ready for him within the hour.
The reason he's unemployed is after 4 years all he did was plug whatever exisitng hole in the dyke there was, why another one sprang up while rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic.
What is ironic is their new coach had the same issues up here roster/position group wise going into every year. Last year at UW he decided to go up tempo and be Oregon Light.

It’s not the players, it’s not the facilities, it’s not the commitment to winning. It’s the coaching. Cycle through them every three years until you find a winner. It’s not hard and ESPN is sofa king re tawd ed.
