Would see them often at the Hall of Fame on the Ave during my undergrad days in the early 80's. Most of the band grew up on Whidbey Island. Started out as Shadowfax, then Pegasus, then the Allies. I think Dave Kincaid, the lead guitar and singer, now does Civil War songs or something. Larry (?) Mason was a great drummer. Carl Funk on bass. They were going places.booker14 said:Allies Emma Peel. This is for the old guys. Early 80's Seattle band. I didn't live in Seattle at the time but knew them from the MTV video. I've got this on vinyl. See the comments - any stories about Astor Park?

Kincaid and maybe Mason went on the become The Brandos.
They kicked ass in their day. The ladies liked them too. -

Continuing with The Allies theme. Gettysburg by The Brandos, featuring Kincaid (frontman) and Mason (drummer) from the Allies. -
New Megadeth album is pretty good. Mustaine is damn near 61 years old and still putting out some face-melting shit.
