Doing this chronologically. I'll have some honorable mention songs that I double up on a post because I can choose, but I don't want to.
First song is Eminem - Without Me (2002).

Look, an honorable mention already!
The Johhny Cash - Hurt (2002)https://youtu.be/8AHCfZTRGiI
But Johnny Cash - In My Life is also an amazing song as an HM.https://youtu.be/uE7E3fj0kVs

This song opened up the world of metal to me. Odd timing that I really became familiar with Nightwish before Metallica but so it goes.
Nightwish - End of All Hope (2002)https://youtu.be/UNvVBL1sX9o

This is my all-time favorite song. The first time I head this live was basically a religious experience.
Blind Guardian - The Bard's Song (In the Forest) (New Studio version) (2003)https://youtu.be/n63UbX5kzAc
-
Big fan of the Offspring and I listened to this song on repeat for a disturbingly long time.
The Offspring - Hit That (2003)https://youtu.be/HwRL1LNVTLI
-
Get My Gun is almost worth an honorable mention here, but this song is way catchier.
D12 - My Band (2004)https://youtu.be/ttWQK5VXskA

Sabaton is super solid but this is probably their only song that can crack my top 20.
Sabaton - Primo Victoria (2005)https://youtu.be/qVHyl0P_P-M
-
Chop Suey is maybe a better pick here, but @Swaye already shared that one and so I figured I'd give Radio Video some love since I probably listened to it equally as much.
System of a Down - Radio Video (2005)https://youtu.be/nvHq4siXbPo

Second of three Finnish metal bands that made my list. I think I have a problem.
Tarot - Howl (2006)https://youtu.be/4sy1Ccvy7RM

Third Finnish metal band. Sort of hate to do a cover but I just love this. I'll give Greek Fire an HM for your own good.
Turisas - Rasputin (2007)https://youtu.be/cdkBs0VCSX0
Turisas - Greek Firehttps://youtu.be/TrZVOAiPcPM

Andy Samberg is awesome which is why I have listened to both of these songs way too much.
The Lonely Island - I'm on a Boat (2009)https://youtu.be/avaSdC0QOUM
Honorable Mention Captain Jack Sparrowhttps://youtu.be/GI6CfKcMhjY

What a fucking weird song. But I like it.
Powerwolf - Werewolves of Armenia (2009)https://youtu.be/hC8uoGW2ptc

I had to cap myself at only two Blind Guardian Songs.
Blind Guardian - Sacred Worlds (2010)https://youtu.be/e6Y2qGK--NI

I'm just a sucker for hip thrusting and weird noises.
DJ Snake, Lil Jon - Turn Down for What (2013)https://youtu.be/HMUDVMiITOU

-
I guess also just a song I like a lot. A recurring theme here.
Peter Hollens - Song of the Lonely Mountain (2014)https://youtu.be/RI3fkqA9-IA

I think this has been on three lists now. This was one of the best things to happen in the best 10 years to be fair.
Disturbed - The Sound of Silence (2015)https://youtu.be/u9Dg-g7t2l4

As someone with a kid now it is even more obvious how my parents made it easy to be a kid.
Twenty One Pilots - Stressed Out (2015)https://youtu.be/pXRviuL6vMY

You don't have to speak German to enjoy just listening to this.
Eisbrecher - Was Ist Hier Los (Die Krupps Remix) (2018)https://youtu.be/rCeF3Mx5KGQ

Absolutely a compliment. Not all of it to my tastes, but I'd definitely not have known it existed.Mad_Son said:

Twenty One Pilots are a guilty pleasure of mine. Sure, it’s mainstream, but I like a bunch of their songs. They are definitely better than Imagine Dragons and the other popular rock/alt bands.Mad_Son said:As someone with a kid now it is even more obvious how my parents made it easy to be a kid.

I sort of cringed to put this song here. But it's who I am and I stand by that.RoadDawg55 said:

You mention things changing with being a father. One of the things that changed for me was one night, when the kids were about four and five, when "family dance party" became a regular thing. I've got a YouTube playlist of songs that are PG enough for kids to listen and dance, and you bet your ass Turn Down For What is one of the main attractions!
Also, you're the second person with a Lonely Island song or two on their list. It's a funny coincidence to me, as my wife and I watched all 100 SNL Digital Shorts over a week or so recently, and I haven't been able to stop singing Worlds Collide, Iran So Far, Threw It On the Ground, Mother Lover, etc. I've got those songs stuck in my head more than any others!
I mean, it's almost a shame this is a parody, as it's legit good!:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoS8DrrlnTQ
