UW Should Play in Pac-12 Championship. Here's why

Seen lots of talk about how we(?) might not play in the Championship game because we(?)'re below the 53-man roster. Don't forget that being under the 53-man limit does NOT automatically mean teams can't play, but it gives them the right to request "no contest" under the conference rules. Teams can play with less than 53-man rosters if they choose, and we've seen teams like Virginia Tech and Mississippi State play under those thresholds.

Even if we're missing most or all of our starters, at least trot out a JV team to face USC or Colorado. It's a free game, free experience for our reserves, and though it would probably play out like the 4th quarter of the Arizona game, at least it'd spite Oregon that much more.

The next time we get embarrassed by an air raid team will be the first. We arent like the Ducks with a recent 4 game cuog losing streak

The immovable object is the requirement for having 7 scholarship athletes on OL and 4 scholarship athletes on DL available.

If UW can get around that I agree, but deep down inside you know the whole OL is under quarantine or something.

Yeah, that's one of the issues, but we'll find out Sunday
