California produced 225 guys in the NFL while Montana produced 9. Just saying.
Although Montana was higher up than I thought.
If you add Florida, Georgia and Alabama, you get Cali +. Add in Louisiana, and you get a bunch more.
As either dnc or race said, it's about the region, and that region, if you focus on land area to make it comparable to Cali in size and ignore state boundaries, just fucking rules in terms of producing football talent.
