@DoogCourics you're the only one I appreciate on a night where I want a SWMOD to crush everyone.

@DoogCourics you're the only one I appreciate on a night where I want a SWMOD to crush everyone.

Thanks dood. Obviously I love this stupid fucking team, and it’s clear I’m always looking for the positive.

That said, I’m not a fucking retard. I’ve been blowing smoke up this team’s ass for months. I’ve been reading into positives about Jon Don, Lake, and Kwat. I’ve been dooging and dooging because there was football and I love my Dwags and they had been so dominant against Zona and then showed big ole nuts against Utah.

This stupid fucking season was theirs for the taking. And they failed to show up. They fought, but they didn’t deserve it.

All the warts showed up today.

    Offense:

    - Running into stacked boxes for no gain
    - Sticking to that plan to “establish the run”
    - Dropped passes to kill drives before they started
    - Not even targeting your best receiving option (on a day when your top 2 WR are out)
    - Not scoring TDs in the red zone when you didn’t have any leeway

    Defense:

    - Not getting off blocks
    - Missing tackles again and again
    - Losing contain on edge rushes
    - Giving up big 3rd down conversions to Stanford WR
    - Not adjusting to the well known Stanford game plan of power running until the end of the game (and surprise surprise there were a lot of zero gain runs when the defensive front went big)
    - Forcing 3rd downs only to give them up at an astonishing clip, 10 of 13 conversions
    - Allowing Stanford to be super efficient on their drives, scoring on the first 5 before finally forcing them to give it up

    Special Teams:

    - Not forcing touchbacks on kickoffs
    - Giving up huge gains on kickoff coverage for terrible field position

All that is left is a team with major flaws, players that need to step up or be replaced, and a coaching staff that needs a long fucking look in the mirror.

I’m still LIPO long term, but there is so much about this team that needs to improve and it’s not hard to see it.

Oh, I forgot to give the positives:

    - I got to get drunk by the early afternoon
    - I got to hate watch a game, which hasn’t happened in awhile
    - The rest of the Pac-12 still sucks, and nothing can be expected in this Covid season, beat Oregon and USC and you still win a Pac-12 title and can play in a NY6 Bowel to salvage something of this mess because banners fly forever

Post game sitting by the fire Mrs Nacho says, “what’s the NFL division where the 1st place team is 4&7?”

    Me: the NFC East.

Mrs Nacho: the Pac-12 is the NFC East of college football.

    Eh, you're fine.
...I believe it was already decided that fault belongs to @dnc this week?

Disagree. If you're going to allow yourself to be bullied, you don't deserve to win.
This right here. The final drive was the epitome of this game. 8 min on the clock, Stanford ball on their own 12. All 3 timeouts left.

You had 88 yards and 8 minutes to get the ball back and let your offense go win the game against a defense that had given up 23 in the half.

Instead Stanford marched down the entire length of the field while chewing up the whole clock. Played well on 1st and 2nd down but allowed a 3rd and 10 conversion and a 3rd and 11 conversion.

That wasn’t just one drive, that was the story of the entire game. But that drive gave the opportunity to flip the script and win a game you shouldn’t have.

Instead, you folded like a pair of 2s.

And that’s not even including having the ball on the 10 after a momentum shifting turnover and run back, and you lost 17 yards and settled for a FG.

As @pawz said, you didn’t deserve to win

This X 10. This has been the entire season. And all of the warts that you have listed and that many on here have been describing since the end of the second game are the obvious issues.

The staff clearly needs to hire you as our spokesman to assist in do's and don't do's for game planning and you are going to have to watch over player development and be willing to step in and kick some ass as the player chart is being discussed.

I propose a beginning salary of 2 million with incentives stacked on top because of the obvious value and "missing link" shit that you will be adding ~ does that work for you? I'm hoping so, because so far this has been like trying to teach the secrets of door knob science technology to Dawgs.

I mean, you’re asking a lot, but I’m willing to take this challenge and minuscule salary on for all of you.

I also say we are no worse off today with Jimmy than we would be with Pete. Whether that is good or bad is up to the reader
I say better, at least no one can acuse Jimmy of racism
