A good breakfast burrito contains a little bacon, fried potatoes or hash browns, scrambled eggs, fresh chopped tomato onion cilantro and jalapeno (or just a good fresh salsa), breakfast sausage or chopped links, and finally a drizzle of country gravy. Then several shots of Tabasco before you roll it up. The potatoes better have crispy edges or I want another one done right!
I love pancakes or French toast with real maple syrup. I always put Adams crunchy peanut butter on my pancakes.
I can also always eat chorizo fried with onion and jalapeño, fried yams or sweet potatoes, eggs over medium, and corn tortillas. This is quite a bit better for my blood sugar than all of the other options.
Breakfast is my favorite meal - French toast, waffles, pancakes - all 3 of these with peanut butter and wallowing in syrup. Biscuits and gravy, bacon and anything, hash browns. Mrs Lebam makes breakfast for dinner at least once a month.
but my favorite is chilaquiles topped with sunny side up eggs. You can make them with green or red sauce, add all the spice you want or not. Mexicali friend of mine explained to me years ago that his family took all the leftovers from the week slathered in sauce and eggs for Saturday morning breakfast.
I have this every time we have nachos for dinner, the leftovers are used for chilaquiles, I soak the chips in enchilada sauce or Chile verde sauce and add eggs.
Pancakes just for standard breakfast, but if you can get good biscuits and gravy, or good eggs benedict, then you are pretty much obliged to go that way. And I mean good. Not some bullshit.
Burritos are the best but I'll eat just about anything listed and love it. I don't do pancakes/french toast/syrup or any of the other high-carb options very often, but I destroy them when I do.
My top choice is the Martin Way Diner for bacon and eggs with sausage gravy on the hash browns, and a Bailey's and coffee.
During the week, I eat a can of sardines and a few crackers for breakfast. I prefer the ones in Louisiana hot sauce, but they're all good.
Bailey's Motor Inn was a great 3am breakfast spot. Martin Way triggered it
Wow... surprised that you know about that place, Bailey's motor inn is a blast from the past... late-night cocktails there in 1972-1973... I heard that it burned to the ground. RIP
As a young guy, I used to be the hoes breakfast type of guy [a coke and cigarette, which is kind of the ultimate ~ back then I was generously described as a diamond studded swizzle stick type of guy], now it's granola with fruit, and the occasional full irish breakfast.
If your breakfast doesn't contain eggs then it sucks. Simple fact end of discussion.
For the breakfast burrito I keep it simple. Steak, Eggs, potatos/hash browns, cheese, sriacha and Chilula/Tapatio. Never been a fan of onions/peppers in my breakfast/eggs but to each their own. Steak and cheese Omlette with Avacado toast (just mashed up avocado with Sriacha and salt. None of this fancy Seattle tight pants wearing floofy shit) is a close second.

I cracked an old joke at an old guy today on a walk through and he got pissed. I said dude I'm 64. He said you sure as hell don't look older than me
I laughed and realized I was back in the real world
There were actually two motor inns on Martin Way. Can't think of the other one
Kings Hawaiian Roll, toasted Over easy egg Cream Cheese with a splash of teriyaki sauce mixed in Ham (Spam if you want to be authentic) Pineapple wedge.

big ol helpin of pussy is how i get my day started.
BREAKFAST OF FUCKIN GAMEDAY CHAMPIONS!
sorry baabs, J, youve nevert been in bed with a woman on a sunday morning after being out till 5 am...trust me its killer smut and the BEST squirt of the week. See, your coke hangover hasn't set in yet. The rest of the day, after the dumpin, get her sore ass to the freezer for the Stoli, pickled asparagus for a triple bloody Mary as pain is on the horizon. Don't worry though, by next weekend you'll be as good as new
The fact that you continue to plagiarize pup's shit after running him really does give me a solid visual of you dancing on the O' and talking shit.

How pancakes, the Stanford of breakfast, is doing so well is a testament to how fucking white this place is. Sure, they've won the PAC 12 North a bunch of tims but fuck are they boring. Can't blame a kid for going with pancakes I suppose.

Bacon n Eggs - Wazzu - Actually just a side posing as a main dish but can be good in a supporting role.
Cereal- OSU - Similar to Bacon and Eggs but also mostly just bland and for the poor.
Bagel - Arizona - Not quiet a side but also not quiet a main. Really just a glorified filler.
Steak and Eggs - Colorado - Was once much more popular in American culture but has quietly drifted into the background.
Oatmeal - UCLA - Should be much better than cereal on paper but rarely is.
Breakfast Burrito - Utah - Solid menu filler and second tier favorite. Should never be featured at the top of any self respecting menu.
Eggs Benedict - Cal - Overly pretentious for a dish that's not good most of the tim.
Huevos Rancheros - ASU - Solid order to make after waking up from your hangover but before taking your penicillin.
Waffles - Oregon - Lots of hype, tons of good instagram photos, rarely as good as made out to be.
Biscuits and Gravy - Washington - Can be great with a good cook but garbage with a bad cook.
Chicken Fried Steak - USC - Occasionally REALLY good, always decent, somehow rarely makes it to the top of the menu despite the inherent advantages.

This sure looks better than the ones I make
But seriously you can.
